About Us

Steve Goggans has more than 40 years of experience in planning and architecture, including master planning for urban sites, mixed-use developments, residential communities, and commercial properties throughout South Carolina. A recipient of numerous AIA awards, Steve’s work has been featured in multiple national publications. Steve has designed high-end, custom residential homes over the last thirty years as part of Goggans Residential Architecture and owner of SGA | NarmourWright Design.

Slade has over 40 years of experience in construction, building, operations and business development procedures. He has worked with regional and national builders overseeing total project management, land development, and has extensive experience in working with clients, vendors, architects and engineers in design and planning. Slade has owned and operated a custom building firm and holds IRC building certificates as well as a South Carolina general unlimited contractor’s license.

Karen serves as Business Manager for Paragon Custom Construction. She has over twenty-five years of management experience. She has a business administration degree from the University of South Carolina, and has worked with Paragon since 2004.

Allyson has over 25 years of experience in residential design, selections and client relationships. She has a B.S. in Architecture & Fine Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design. As a professional member of the kitchen and bath industry she has had her work featured in numerous publications. Allyson's organized and detail-oriented approach to designing offers client's functionality within their desired aesthetic while keeping a careful eye on the overall project scope.

Matt has 25 years of experience in construction management, with extensive knowledge of building practices and codes. He is very detailed and organized, and possesses excellent customer service skills. Matt has managed several major projects throughout the Grand Strand and has a South Carolina builder’s license.

Zack was born in New Jersey but moved to Myrtle Beach as a young boy. He attended the College of Charleston and graduated with a degree in computer science.

Married in December 2021, Zack spends some of his free time walking with his wife and two goldendoodles on area beaches.

Zack gathered hands-on knowledge of the construction business by working as a trim carpenter for 3 years, and now is an assistant project manager for Paragon.
