About Us

Our founder, Steve Goggans, is an architect based in the South Carolina Lowcountry with more than 4 decades of design experience. While he has invested much of his career in all manner of projects from public to private and large to small, he has divested himself of the larger practice to focus on residential architecture, and occasionally, other projects of interest and distinction.

With over four decades of experience in the building industry, Slade brings a seasoned perspective to every project. His background highlights leadership roles with regional and national builders, directing project management and land development and fostering strong partnerships with clients, vendors, architects, and engineers.

Karen serves as Business Manager for Paragon Custom Construction. She has over twenty-five years of management experience. She has a business administration degree from the University of South Carolina, and has worked with Paragon since 2004.

Allyson approaches each project with an architect’s eye, grounding her work in strong product knowledge, thoughtful material choices, and a commitment to design integrity. With more than 25 years as a residential design professional, she brings a disciplined, detail‑oriented approach to every home, while maintaining a clear understanding of the overall project scope.

Known for his attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and exceptional customer service, Matt brings over 25 years of extensive knowledge of building practices and industry standards to the Paragon team. His leadership reflects precise command of construction principals, ensuring each residence is delivered with thoughtful execution, longevity, and uncompromising quality.

Brian brings a disciplined, reliable presence to every home he manages. Known for consistent project execution and steady oversight throughout each phase of the build, he contributes extensive construction knowledge and more than 15 years of project management experience to the Paragon team.

Guided by a deep respect for craftsmanship, Zack has established himself as a trusted professional in the delivery of high‑end custom homes. His clear approach to project management, defined by strong organizational oversight ensures every project is executed with intention and professionalism.
